Caterina Moro’s 2021 Spring Summer collection is a hymn to hope and rebirth, a place in the heart made of light, sun and warmth, a place where the soul can take shelter. Conceived by the designer during her months of lockdown, it intends to be an intimate and personal reflection on the blossoming of nature as humans remained still and were able to admire the season’s colors and fragrances only from afar.

The past, seen through memories of brief vacations between Capri and Positano, is the abstract dimension in which the sun can be found again, the reference point of a warm aesthetic ideal for the new collection.

During her solitary walks, Caterina Moro’s gaze captured the images of the flowering springtime, transforming them into photographic prints on silk organza and cotton popeline. Branches and inflorescences, witnesses of those feeling of rebirth the designer seeks, stand out on asymmetrical pleated maxi skirts of recycled polyester produced in collaboration with Omnia Piega.

The chromatic palette, dominated by tones of sand, white, fuchsia, turquoise and periwinkle, is fresh and gives the pleats of dresses and jumpsuits a delicate organic materiality.

Knitwear makes a comeback with lightweight and delicate hatchings, a necessary element of this collection.

Once again Caterina Moro narrates a concept of intimate and sought-after luxury that is realized through the care taken in the creation of pieces and in the research for materials that follow the concept of authenticity. A luxury that is sustainable and in harmony with our planet.
