EARTH
responsibility manifesto
We know we won’t save the planet by making clothes.
Every garment is a new object — every creation consumes resources.
But creation is a deeply human act. So we seek balance.
We speak of responsibility, not sustainability.
For Caterina Moro, respecting nature is a matter of coherence.
What we create cannot harm what we love — Mother Earth.
So we design fewer pieces, with more intention, more time, more care.
We reject overproduction.
We create only when we have something to say.
Our capsules are limited editions, outside seasonality and trends.
Each piece is numbered, and we never exceed our planned production.
Like artists, we release new work when meaning calls — not when the calendar demands.
We believe in natural balance, not infinite growth.
Growth for the sake of growth is incompatible with a finite planet.
We will never go public: fashion must slow down so that the Earth has time to restore what it gives.
Mother Nature is a shareholder in our business.
A fixed share of our profits supports reforestation and regeneration projects
— giving back through 1% for the Planet — to help restore what we borrow.
We give preference — whenever possible — to organic, regenerated, recycled and certified fibers,
choosing the material that offers the right balance of function, beauty and durability.
When the design allows it, we favour organic and certified fibers, natural dyes & printing,
and vegetable-tanned leather. We consider the end of life too: mono-fiber compositions wherever possible, to keep our garments within a circular system.
We produce locally in Italy, in certified factories,
with transparent and traceable supply chains — because transparency builds trust.
Above all, we embrace Mottainai — the Japanese principle that reminds us to honour resources and avoid waste.
The most respectful act toward Mother Nature is this:
creating less, with more love.
